Lagos Life Courses: UNILAG Short Courses, Fees and Rewards
Lagos Life Courses is a paid lesson system whose checked detail panels describe skills, certificates and perks. The Lagos Life jobs guide covers career routes that advertise Game Naira per shift; Courses describes paying for lessons to work toward skills, a certificate and a perk. These are separate systems. Everything below records interface text from 9 Oct 2026, not a completed lesson or an earned reward.
What are Courses in Lagos Life?
The owner observed Courses as a Phone entry on 9 Oct 2026. The place panel and help text connect lessons to UNILAG; this records when the entry was seen, not when it launched.
| Interface item | Observed text or behaviour — 9 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|
| Phone entry | Courses |
| Lesson location | University of Lagos (Akoka, Yaba) |
| University place-panel heading | Short Courses: Learn a Career |
| Lesson-location button | Go to UNILAG for lesson 1 — opened the university place panel |
| Help & guide entry | Go to school — go to UNILAG → Short Courses → attend a lesson, read and pass a quiz → complete the course for a certificate and perk |
The owner opened the location panel but did not enrol, attend a lesson or answer a quiz. For the Phone entries recorded on separate dates, see Lagos Life how to play. The Lagos Life locations guide explains the distinction between map labels and place-panel names.
How do the courses work?
The Phone → Courses directory, observed 9 Oct 2026, states the following rules:
- Courses are open to everyone.
- Each course has 5 lessons.
- Each lesson is a 45-minute class in the Lecture Theatre, followed by reading notes and 3 quiz questions.
- Players can take at most 2 new lessons per day. The directory displayed Classes today: 0/2 in this session.
- Later lessons unlock through the preceding lesson.
- Passed lessons can be reread anywhere.
These are directory statements. We have not established whether the displayed 45 minutes refers to game time or real time, and have not timed or completed a class.
Which courses are there, and what do they cost?

What rewards do the courses give?
These are detail-panel statements observed on 9 Oct 2026, not rewards received. The session included no enrolment, lesson or quiz completion and no certificate award. The ✨ symbol is retained as displayed; its broader meaning was not tested.
Entrepreneur
The panel lists +Hustle and +1 ✨ per lesson. Completion is described as a UNILAG certificate displayed on the profile and +3 ✨. Its perk is Trading work performance +15%, described as helping faster promotion. Work performance is not salary; this observation does not establish a pay increase or a tested promotion effect.
Software Developer
The panel lists +Coding and +1 ✨ per lesson. Completion is described as a UNILAG certificate and +3 ✨, with Tech work performance +15%. That is a performance statement, not a salary percentage, and neither the reward nor the effect was tested.
Money Smart
The panel lists +Hustle and +1 ✨ per lesson, with a UNILAG certificate and +3 ✨ on completion. It explicitly states no attached job. Its topics include budgeting, saving, scam awareness, borrowing and growing money. We do not assign it either of the other courses’ work-performance perks.
What are the five Entrepreneur lessons?
The Entrepreneur detail panel, observed 9 Oct 2026, displayed these five lesson titles, copied as shown:
- Find a problem worth solving
- Start small and test it
- Make it official: the CAC
- Money matters: price, records, separate accounts
- Grow it
These are displayed lesson titles, not lessons completed or quiz questions recorded by the owner.
What we have not verified
- Interface statements are not earned rewards. Certificates, ✨ and the performance perks above are detail-panel descriptions. The 9 Oct 2026 session included no enrolment, no lesson, no quiz and no certificate received.
- Work performance ≠ salary. The displayed +15% is a work-performance perk, not a wage increase. We have not converted it into pay or confirmed faster promotion in play.
- Perks are course-specific. Only Entrepreneur’s Trading perk and Software Developer’s Tech perk were recorded with that performance percentage. Money Smart states no attached job; no reward details were checked for the other ten courses.
- The 45-minute class is untested. Whether that duration means game time or real time has not been observed or converted.
- Quiz pass mark, whether a failed quiz can be retaken, whether a retake costs money, actual charges and refunds, whether enrolment uses other slots, and whether a certificate affects other systems: not verified.
